Before you start
You’ll need a phone number that is not already active on the regular WhatsApp or
WhatsApp Business app, plus access to your Meta Business account.
Open the embedded connect flow
In ChatSyncs, go to WhatsApp → Connect Account (Embedded) (the Public section).
Sign in with Meta
Click Connect and sign in with the Meta account that owns your business.
Select business and number
Follow the embedded prompts to select your business and phone number.
Confirm the code
Confirm the verification code when asked.
Wait for Connected
Wait for the status to turn Connected (usually under a minute).
Once a number is connected to the API, it can no longer be used in the standard
WhatsApp app on a phone. Use a dedicated business number.
