If you’re not technical, use Claude or ChatGPT in your web browser. You never touch a file or a terminal: you add ChatSyncs in the app’s settings, paste your API key on a ChatSyncs page, and start asking. The other apps are for people who already use them for coding.

Comparison

How you sign in:
  • Browser sign-in. The app opens a ChatSyncs page, you paste your API key there, and the app stores it safely. This is the recommended way.
  • Key in settings. You paste the key into the app’s own settings file. It works, but the key sits in that file in plain text.
Whichever app you pick, the abilities are the same: the same 38 ChatSyncs abilities, the same WhatsApp rules, and the same API key.

What’s the same everywhere

  • Server address: https://mcp.chatsyncs.com/mcp
  • What you need: your ChatSyncs API key and a ChatSyncs account with a connected WhatsApp number.
  • WhatsApp’s rules still apply. Free-text replies only reach someone who messaged you in the last 24 hours; outside that window, only an approved template is delivered.
  • Nothing is installed from ChatSyncs. The server is hosted for you.

Frequently asked

Not today. ChatGPT only allows custom MCP apps on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu plans, and only on the web. Claude’s Free plan does allow one custom connector, so Claude is the free option.
With Claude, yes. Add the connector on claude.ai or Claude Desktop, and it’s then available in the Claude mobile app too. ChatGPT’s custom MCP apps are web-only.
Yes. Each app connects separately with the same key. Regenerating the key disconnects all of them at once.
Probably, if it supports remote MCP servers over HTTP. See Other apps for the general settings.
